Received a short email yesterday from Bob Smith at Smithfarms… here’s the status of the current crop.
…an update on our crop status. we are still working off last seasons(harvest Jan and Feb 2008) crop. still have a few bags to go. we just started harvesting and the coffee is on the floor drying, so probably won’t be going to the mill for another couple of weeks.
Bob is sending me some of the Jan/Feb green, which is still fabulous.
WWJD (What Would Jim Drink today?): sipping a single origin espresso, the natural Guji, of course. I just cannot get enough of this coffee. I have given up trying to blend it – there is nothing I can find to add that improves the profile of this one by itself.
