Make sure you check the filter basket for BATS before brewing your morning cuppa. Presumably they are easier to see in the French press.

As long as Spiderman is not ordering a coffee at my local Starbucks’ I’ll be fine…
;o)
Oh, the bat’s brain was “too cooked” to determine if it had rabies? It underwent its death throes in the filter, and the coffee didn’t taste any different? Ugh.
Then again, when I lived in Virginia I once found a roach in the bottom of my coffee cup. It had drowned in my coffee. Much teeth-brushing ensued.
Is this the latest super expensive coffee? Like the coffee Jack Nicholson was crazy about in “the bucket list” that was made from the excrement of some jungle cat.
Now, Steve, that Kopi Luwak is actually some fine coffee… not because of the digestive juices as some suggest, but simply because the civet has nothing better to do all day than select the most perfect, ripe cherries. Kind of like me with the peaches at the State Farmers’ Market… but I digress.
I think we should have a cupping in the near future… nothing but oddball coffees… Kopi Luwak, Jacu bird coffee, and a few others.
